Multi-Cultural Choices

Multicultural ChoicesDuke offers numerous choices for anyone seeking multi-cultural food options. Whether it’s vegetarian options at East Campus Marketplace or the Refectory Cafes in Duke's Divinity School and Law School, Asian fare from Grace’s Café and Panda Express or Indian cuisine from Sitar's location in the Great Hall, Duke community members can sample flavors from around the world.

If you’ve got dietary restrictions based on cultural or religious beliefs, there are also options. For instance, you can savor traditional Kosher food such as matzah ball soup at Henry's Place, a Kosher kitchen in the Freeman Center for Jewish Life. Along with serving Jewish students and others with kosher diets, the Freeman Center fills the nutritional niche for others including vegetarians, Muslims, Hindus and Seventh Day Adventists.
