Where to Dine
Duke is home to one of the most innovative, dynamic and cutting-edge collegiate dining programs in the country. Our award-winning program features more than 30 restaurants and cafes with an abundance of options and nutritious choices that helped Duke earn top rankings as one of the best campuses for college dining.
Dining On Campus
Duke features more than 30 eateries, from home-style comfort foods, pasta and bagels to hot wraps and long salad bars. Time doesn't have to be a factor, either. Many of our campus eateries open at 7 a.m.
In addition to Duke’s two largest eateries - the Marketplace on East Campus and the Great Hall on West Campus – there are specialty cafes and dining facilities in many of the individual schools, such as The Refectory at Duke Law and Duke Divinity School, a locally-owned café that emphasizes fresh, local, organic produce. Many other Duke eateries, such as Upstairs @ The Commons and the Nasher Museum Cafe, also support local farmers and sustainable agriculture practices, giving a whole new meaning to eating your greens.
